The transport companies began early on to rebuild older vehicles to specially equipped track cleaners. The track cleaners are primarily used to clear away snow or gravel next to the rails and the wagon type is a mixed crowd with a large type variation. In order to plow along the inside of the rails, the plowing devices needed to be raised and lowered. The different types of plows are located on adjustable small wagons with wheels or slides under the platform.
In the 60s, two types of powerful diesel engines (Tb and Tc) were introduced to handle the snow removal and thus reduced the need for track cleaners. Many have been scrapped, but as late as the snowy winter of 2009-2010 several of the old track cleaners had to move in and again do service in the snow removal.
The prototype for this wagon was built in the 1950s and had two fixed plows and movable side wings
