The model was first developed as a showcase model as it was difficult to find a suitable commercial motor unit.
Later we found a drive from German SB Modellbau that fits without having to be modified and the kit was supplemented with an etched bracket for mounting this drive in the kit.

The Tc engines was built by Nohab on order from SJ.
20 locos were delivered between 1969 and 1971.
During the winter they are used for snow removal else for hauling maintenance trains
Class, operators and color schemes have varied during the years.First as Class Tc with orange livery, later the class was changed to Qtc and later on to DLL.
