OBS! Couplings are not included in the base kit

In order to keep the price of the kit down as the 3D-printed parts are relatively expensive, we have chosen to let the standard coupler be an extra accessory.

For longer "fixed" coupled gravel trains, the coupler between the wagons can  be replaced with a simple bent metal wires according to the assembly instructions and this picture->

Then it is advisable to have a coupling kit with at each end of the row of carriages, although it is obviously much more difficult to disassemble and connect than if you have standard couplings on each carriage

togs fram under 70-talet av SJ i samarbete med tyska Talbot och skiljer sig från de tidigare Qbd-vagnarna med tömningsfickor genom att Qbx-vagnarna istället har en mekaniserad lossningsanordning med rullband under vagnskorgen för att sprida ballasten.

  

1978 levererades de första 50 vagnarna från Talbot. 1980 levererades ytterligare 60 vagnar, den här gången från svenska AGV.

Vagnen är idag den vanligaste vagnstypen i svenska ballasttåg och går med i Infranords arbetståg i ett eller två set om 10 Qbx-vagnar med en Qax generatorvagn i varje set, eller som ”Mini-Qbx:er"
